The Museum of Taste makes exhibitions that can be tasted. Old plant varieties, old cooking techniques and old preparation methods will be exhibited in a tastegarden and an old kitchen.
The Museum of Taste is always evolving with keeping the educational character in mind.
By actually tasting the exhibition, and not only experience it and look at it, is the museum a unique place in the world. A place where you have the opportunity for reflection and space to mirror our eating habits to the past to be able to think about our future. The Museum of Taste aims to build an edible heritage, which in collaboration with others finally will grow and have more locations in order to bring back the biodiversity and the plant variety in our daily food by means of tastegardens.
Currently The Museum of Taste is under construction and will open its doors and enable you to taste the first collection for the first time in May 2016.
TASTE THE PAST, LEARN ABOUT THE PRESENT, CREATE FLAVOUR IN THE FUTURE
